In the fall of 2009, Benjamin met Patrick & Kate Simons, owners of The Refinery at a local SCORE meeting in Portsmouth, NH. Young, energetic entrepreneurs like ourselves, we immediately hit it off with them and their NEW product, custom-designed concrete countertops. With a cool name and a cool concept, Benjamin followed up with Patrick via email and set up a tour of his studio in Seabrook, NH.
We were immediately impressed with his works of art in the showroom. Patrick takes a very rough and raw looking material and transforms it into a beautiful smooth detailed product. Each concrete countertop is custom handcrafted and is installed over custom built cabinetry or can be stand-alone.
It is unique; cost is considerably less than other countertop applications and has a low impact on our environment. Click on the link below…
